Individual Support

Individual adult grief support

Individuals meet with a licensed clinician to determine their grief counseling needs. Each individual is assigned a volunteer who is extensively trained in all aspects of grief support. Supervised by a licensed clinician, the assigned volunteer works with the individual for 16 months, providing a listening ear and identifying additional resources as needed during this difficult time.

While participating in the program, the individual is encouraged to participate in the other support groups and programs offered by Fox Valley Hands of Hope. Participation in individual adult grief support is voluntary. For more information, please contact Fox Valley Hands of Hope (phone: 630.232-2233; e-mail: info@fvhh.net.
